    Hello,

    1) Downgrading ThinOS 9.1 to ThinOS 8.6 or ThinOS 9.0 using Wyse Management Suite is not supported.

    2) To downgrade ThinOS 9.1 to ThinOS 8.6 or ThinOS 9.0, you must clear TPM or PTT in BIOS first. Then use the Dell Wyse USB Imaging Tool and Merlin images to downgrade.

    DP=”Display Port”

Please change it with a different brand cable. Then let’s see.

What is BIOS version on Wyse 3040 ?

ThinOS v8.6_412 is only raw image. It does not cover BootLoader (3020 does not have Bios). Probably you upgraded your 7.1_212 device  from much earlier firmware. Not step by step. It can be a possible.

Please download v8.6_013 from dell.com/support. It is Merlin image. It should have latest BootLoader. Downgrade your client, then check its bootloader version. Then upgrade it to v8.6_412 again. The upgrading will be keeping latest BootLoader with latest image.

    Please let me know result.

Kind of issues are mostly related with electrical.

D10DP Power adaptor and 3040 Power adaptor are different.

    Please try different DP Cable.

The possibility is less but could you try to use USB hub with electrically grounded adaptor.

You tried v8.6_206 on T10 and you got same result. I asked one of my friend. They still use T10 v8.6_206 with XenDesktop v7.15 LTSR CU7. He did not report kind of issue. It possibly should be related with your environmental conditions.

Please be sure T10 has right time on it self.

Please do not keep any plugged equipment on USB Port during the panic heap occur times. Observe the result and let’s to know.

Please also could you share your commands on wnos.ini with us after you changed critical information?

It can be related with your T10 v8.1_031 and your XenApp combability.

T10 is almost 8 years old device. Latest supported firmware on T10 is v8.6_206. Test it with v8.6_206 and compare the results.

ThinOS v8.6_710 is recomended for all your Wyse 3040 ThinOS.

I understand, you use terminal services or you try 1:1 connection over RDP.

You need to place an IP or URL for “Host=”

I recommend you to use ConfGen with its help. Just come to command name and see how you can use it.

I tested on my Wyse 3040 ThinOS v8.6_710. Icon is appearing on screen.

Please let us know how did you upgrade Wyse 3040 ThinOS with PCoIP ? with USB or over WMS ?

Do you use WMS Standard 3.2 or WMS Pro 3.2?

    Don’t you have/use DNS ?

Do you place a DNS address or IP on Wyse 3040 for WMS Server?

Is your Wyse 3040 ThinOS with PCoIP in remote location ? Is it in same location with WMS Server?

    “SignOn=yes EnableMessage=no” is right command.

WMS 3.2 is recommended for ThinOS v8.6_710.

TCX Suit is legacy enhancement software. It was installed on Server 2008/2012R2/Windows 7. It was enhance USB Redirection, Flash Redirection and Multimedia Redirection. I think you do not have TCX  Suit.

I recommend you to try “sessionconfig=rdp usbredirection=rdp”. Also install plantronics headset driver on Server 2012R2. May be Server 2012R2 does not support plantronics headset because it does not have its driver. Windows 10 is PC OS, Server 2012R2 is Server OS.

    Hello,

Your ThinOS v8.5 is quite old firmware. We recommend you to upgrade it to v8.6_606.

    Two scenario:

    1) May be horizon.i386.pkg and ThinOS 8.5_xxx are incompatible.

Recommended horizon pkg and ThinOS firmware are v5.1.19052918 on ThinOS 8.6_606.

    2) You use corrupted horizon.i386.pkg. Please re-download it and replace it again.

Then let us know your result.
