Hi,
We got a firmware update from WYSE (6.5.042) that fixed the problem for us. We had to go through tech support and it was supplied to us as a ‘BETA’ but it has fixed the problems for the users that were affected.
How strange, I was just about to post about the same issue but we are on 4.5 HRP05. This problem only affects a few users and we are using 6.5.023.
Any more suggestions?
Our problem seems to have been resolved by moving to FW 6.3x, touch wood all seems to be ok now – has been for about a month now.
Disabling Session Reliability did not make a difference, I have even run a Wireshark Trace from terminals affected and cannot see anything wrong…..
My Users repor disconnections every 10 minutes for those that are affected…..
I have tried the new Firmware provided by Andy but still had the problem. WYSE informed me to try 6.2.27 but still the problems occur…
I have not informed them about the batches yet, I will email them once I am back in the office – I couldn’t even register the terminals on the WYSE Site…….
I am going to have to think about setting static IP’s if this gets any worse….
Thanks Andy, email in PM.
Hi Andy,
That would be great? Shall PM you my email?
That is correct only the newer units seems to be affected.
These are new batch details:
Prod : SX0
Part NO: 902110-02L
Sub-Assy P/N: 849150-02L
Manufacture Date: July 2008
Made in China.Old Batch Details:
Prod Id: SX0
Part NO: 902110-02L
Manufacture Date: January 2007
Made in MexicoFirmware on Devices is: 6.2.0_22
The chasis does look slightly different, but I suppose that is just a cosmetic thing…
I am chasing WYSE for the firmware but this is really getting my head scratching.
Nothing on the Citrix Server Event logs indicate anything, I have disabled session reliability but the problems still occur.
I never had any problems withe 1200LE, or the last batch of S10’s, it just seems to be these new batches…
Hi Guys,
I am still having the issues, does any one have any more suggestions?
Just got 6.2.022 but that has not made a difference.
Apparently 6.2.0.028 is still under development, and that the 6.2.0.24 is the next release but that is still unavailable for customer use.
Does any one have any other suggestions, this is driving me and my users nuts.
I am going to disable Session Reliability for now and see if that improves things any more.
I will contact WYSE for the new firmware.
Hi Guys,
Looks like I spoke to soon. We have a number of users who are still being randomly disconnected with errors saying session timed out, etc.
Any more thoughts?
