I can confirm the same problems and WYSE sent me Firmware 6.2.021 as there were problems with .018.

    All problems have now disappeared.

    Hi ConfGen,

    That worked thanks!

Do you know if there is a way that I can keep the config locked down but only allow access to Printer Settings?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi ConfGen,

Thanks, that has sorted the mapping and I can now successfully see the printer on my Citrix Boxes.

Once final question, is there any way to stop the printer being the default printer every time users logon?

I configure the terminals using a WNOS.ini file and I do not want to leave the terminal config open for users to make changes, and I think that if I had the Printer syntax to my WNOS.ini it will be mapped for all users and be there default printer. I have tested changing default printer to somethign else but when I log back in the Zebra is the default.

Any help you can provide will be great.

    Hi ConfGen,

Thanks for being patient with me.

The WYSE S10 does not have any physical LPT ports on the device, am I safe to assume the the printer is going to use LPT1 or LPT2?

    Hi ConGen,

This is going to be a silly question but how would I add this in as the printer is a USB one and I only have options for Ports (none of which apply), LPD’s or SMB’s?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

I have checked the ‘Printer Setup’ fields and there are no details in there.

    Hi Guys,

In terms of the Printer Identification Field on the WYSE terminal, how can I check that? I have checked the Event Log on the WYSE and can only see ‘bi-direction’ being found as a USB Device.

On the Citrix Server there are no event logs in regards to Metaframe Printer Events (something that I would initially look for when configuring client printing) as I would use that to configure Printer Driver Mappings.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

There are no event logs being registered. That is the first place I looked and cannot see any Metaframe event log errors for this Zebra – The autocreation is working fine for other printers?

    Hi,

Yes the same stick is accessed successfully from my Laptop via Published Desktop & PN – though the drive is mapped as E$.

    Hi,

The stick is FAT32 and Z: is not mapped to anything else. I do have drive restrictions in place via a GPO but this only restricts local drives A, C, D and E (and that is of the server) – When I access via Program Neighbourhood on my laptop I can see the local drives of my machine (Citrix Policy to allow this) so don’t think it is being restricted.

Is there anywhere else I could have a look?
