We had a load of disconnecting/crashing problems which were finally solved by the 6.4.0_24 firmware, but it has introduced an annoying bug.
Caps lock now comes on and off at random although the light on the keyboard does not change. So some users will caps lock on but the light will be off. It’s happening in the middle of typing documents etc, so very annoying.
Any ideas?
January 22, 2010 at 11:34 am #17480We got this issue a while ago aswell, and i’m sure (if you use Citrix) it can be fixed with a Citrix hotfix.
more info : http://support.citrix.com/article/CTX122656 – In Unicode clients, typing with the Caps Lock key pressed might not result in the expected upper- and lowercase letters.

January 22, 2010 at 2:49 pm #17482How strange, I was just about to post about the same issue but we are on 4.5 HRP05. This problem only affects a few users and we are using 6.5.023.
Any more suggestions?
December 15, 2010 at 5:25 pm #19621hello, experiencing the same caps-lock weirdness, using WTOS 6.5,6.4 and 6.3 with XA 4.5 R03 and R06 too, every combination is experiencing the same caps-lock issue.
weird is, that this happens not regularly, it’s ocassional in undefinable interval and not appearing on every user, just few.
any suggestions ?

We got a firmware update from WYSE (6.5.042) that fixed the problem for us. We had to go through tech support and it was supplied to us as a ‘BETA’ but it has fixed the problems for the users that were affected.
