I worked with Wyse Tech support to get this passphrasse in the WLX.ini file:
“Computers are awesome better than ice cream!”
My actual passphrase for other wireless devices do not use the quotes or backslashes. Tech support said you had to have the when you have spaces in the passphrase.thnx
tmNo the SSID is not hidden. I am using base64 encoding. Here is an example of my plain text passphrase
that worked prior to flashing to 11.1.070-

tmAlso, are there any parameters I need to add in the wlx.ini or change settings on the C50LE itself. We are using vmware 4.0 and after sitting idle it disconnects. Any thoughts?

tmI am unable to get the C50LE to add the the password from the WLX.ini file as well for wpa&wpa2personal after upgrading to 11.1.070. It’s not a hidden SSID.

TerryThanks for responding. I ended up flasing it with 11.1.070 and Wyse tech got me a different version of the View Client and it now works. But it does not like the Wireless settingings in the WLX.ini file. We are using wpa&wpa2 but it does not add the password from there. I think I remember that there is a know issue with this on this version. I will look at the 11.2.019. I will let you know what I find out.
