    Hello,

I upgraded the firmware on C50LE from 11.1.015 to 11.1.031 to see if it would help with wireless dropping on these units. When doing this the Wyse terminal will not connect to View Pools that are setup to connect with RDP but will to PCOIP (very slow and not full screen. With this newer version it installs View Client 4.6. When trying to connect to an RDP pool, it tries to connect then I get a blue screen (similar to windows xp desktop) then disconnects after so long. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks
    Terry

PCoIP on a C50 will be too resource intensiv and therefore slow.
Wyse is using its own RDP client and I guess there is an incompatibility issue with that RDP client and the new view client.
Today Wyse release 11.2.019 SUSE SP2 build. Worth a try.

Thanks for responding. I ended up flasing it with 11.1.070 and Wyse tech got me a different version of the View Client and it now works. But it does not like the Wireless settingings in the WLX.ini file. We are using wpa&wpa2 but it does not add the password from there. I think I remember that there is a know issue with this on this version. I will look at the 11.2.019. I will let you know what I find out.

    Thanks
    Terry

Also, are there any parameters I need to add in the wlx.ini or change settings on the C50LE itself. We are using vmware 4.0 and after sitting idle it disconnects. Any thoughts?

    thnx
