If one had the push k file from a conversion kit any way to get the usb imager to push that? I have never set up a network to push items I have always used the USB imager or the clone image restore USB.
Or I need a step by step instructions for dummies, ME, on how to set up a net to push items.edit
I think I am getting a 9150 with a 512meg image that I can steal, clone, to install in my other 512meg units?From a hardware point, ram on the board or ram on a plug in board is still just ram?
A ide flash drive on a small non standard ide or a standard 44 pin flash drive?
I dont get it? Because I can change the S90L ram and flash drive so easy I use it to try out ideas to be used on the x150se and Sx0 series?TCL is tiny core linux which I even got to work on a S30 with 32meg flash drive and only 64meg ram. A radio station player with a crude browser, LINKS, just fits along with the core.
I have this happen on my 9150SE also. It does it more when I put a USB stick in and run that and then go back to XPE.
My 9150SE claims to have a Java 2 RE 108meg in size??? Is that correct?
My 9150 only has 256meg flash????How can I get JRE 1.3.1? 17.6meg?
What if anything will be left out or not work?I still cant believe 108meg out of 256meg used by JRE, how can that be???

I got http://www.password-changer.com to work but its not free. You can make a floppy, usb stick, or a cd. You can change all accounts even if they are turned off like guest. For the floppy you can add a file to a dos floppy you allready have or it can make a floppy. The usb stick has very little on it and can drop to dos so maybe other items can be added to make a do it all usb stick?
Items not on add or remove list how can they be removed, like media player 6.4?
On this list is a large amount of S3 items, what is S3??????

I have many Wyse systems which are x150SE or Sx0 and they all have the 1.15 bios upgrade. Once this bios is in, the above floppy no longer boots. It comes up with a boot error?????? The none wyse systems or the V series wyse does boot the floppy.
What has happen???
The 1.15 rom floppy and all my dos floppies still boot but the above floppy will not????How can the Favorites, Bookmarks be saved so at power on they are stiil present???? Right now at power off on they are gone??????
How do you get utils_xxx.pak with instructions on how to use it?
I have 4 5150SEs now, one of the newest dont have a Control Panel , I dont know how to get it back or why its gone? Last 2 have firefox 1.0. With a Firefox present what do I do to upgrade to 1.5, anything newer than 1.5? addon says only 13k leftI always use as stand alone so what items can be uninstalled but not so much to get rid of wyse upgrades, one new one says only 13k left on addon screen
Update. Unit with no control panel it came back but now auto time set and Firefox start went away?????? I put those back and sometimes unit doesnt boot correct? At boot you see very fast yellow, green lights then nothing???? I let unit sit and tried it again and now it works????????

I see what you mean, USB unit works fine on S90 but not at all on S30?
Who has a part number of a unit that works better and where can I get it?Well , except for software, my S90 is done. The looked like a S10 inside, a S30 outside gave up some parts to complete the S90 hardware.
Time to move on to the will be S90L.
I can find flash for it, standard 44 pin units, but what Ram does it use?

Orig usb stick is a Lexar 2gig unit. get 32m raw image 15 min write back out 5min
Dane Elec 64mb sticks 1 will not boot at all 2nd 1 boots, get 32m raw image over 1 hour did not write back out yet.

Old version, 2, listed as a dos version with a floppy image but also has a USB image, works strange on WYSE some features missing or not working but does make a RAW SECTOR COPY OF WYSE FLASH DRIVES AND LETS YOU LOOK AT SECTORS and then push RAW sector copy back out.

Its me again. My #5 3150SE was stuck in a loop, the log on and off to the server was set on auto so it went trying to log on, cant, log off, trying to log on, cant, ect ect.
I dont know how many times this was going to happen before it would stop if ever?I found a Usb mem stick image that after the bios was updated would boot into a save Raw flash image all 32meg on the usb mem stick and then could push this 32meg back into another unit. The get image on to mem stick took 15min, the push into a different unit took 5 min.
So I took a image from a unit I had already started to set up and pushed it into #5, I am stuck in a loop unit and got a unit that is a twin and no longer loops. I guess I now have my own USB IMAGER that takes any CE, LINUX, XPE image and lets you put it into as many units as you want??????
Will test this more later, as I have only tried on 1 3150SE so far.Does anyone have a 3150SE with CE that they use in stand alone mode and that they have built up the CE into more then it was? I am interested in what you have done and what you have?
Please, POST, Email, PMWhen I used the USB installer I got media player 6.4. This was ok for some items I do, but player 9 would cover all I do. On the WYSE site was player 10. Even though I have installed items ok the MP 10 would not install no matter what I did, it kept saying NOT A SYS 32 APP? I then found a MP 9 on a site with 3 different ones, 1 for older windows, one for many newer windows and 1 just for WIN XP only. I installed MP9 for XP only just fine.
Why no MP10 on WYSE but ok MP9 elsewhere? What is “not a sys 32 app”?
I wanted to find out if anyone knew the pinout of the 36 pin connector on the flash IDE????? Any of the pins???????????
I found a patent from 2005, 6859854, that has the pinout of a 36 pin IDE connector and the size, shape, and type looks like correct connector???
I can not say for sure, but if someone has some of the pinout it would be a good guess???? Should I just post it anyway? I could post 36 to 40 compare like this
