    Hi ConfGen

Thanks for reviewing my post, yes basically the S30 states its 590.01.01, correctly WDM database records it as 590.01.01, its set to CEN, but no matter what i do it keeps imaging every checkin.

its a good thing im bald or i would pull my hair out, im at the point now where i may build another WDM and try the image, i dont really want to reload it due to all the work i put into its setup, groups etc.

iv used unpadded, padded, custom images, every build number going,

our S10’s are working fine with DDC,

do you know of anywhere i can check this reporting in process, look at what the s30 is giving wdm when it checks in or something like that, i have raised a wyse support incident but last time i did that the guy told me its not possible to change a build number….. so my confidence is low

    thank

    Hi,

Sorry i have been away, Ok go into account management and set the ISUR account password to something you want, then go to IIS manager, default website (Rapport one)and untick allow IIS to conterold password, type in the new password you set for the ISUR account, then go to default website do the same, restart and try see if its works.

try these and let me know i had this problem and found it to be the anonymous account password being out of sync on IIS- if u want more on that e-mail me and ill guide you through setting it..

    1. Verify the inetpubwwwroothserver.dll has anonymous access enabled.

    2. Try resetting the IUSR account password in both Computer Manager and the IIS Web properties

    3. Increase the permissions of the IUSR account to avoid potential account restrictions.

    4. Applications that use IIS must not be running on the WDM box. For instance, Dameware.

    5. HP/Compaq management agents can use port 80 which will conflict with Hserver. Remove them.

    6. Test this link for a response: http://localhost/hserver.dll?&V99

Also try replacing localhost with the HServer IP.

Try prompting the user account specified for anonymous access to local admin temporarily and repeat above.

You should get something like the following

    2007|9|3|11|47|24|
    YEAR | MONTH | DAY | HOUR | MINUTE | SECOND

This value will continue to update with each F5 (refresh)
If it’s getting a value back then HServer is running. If prompted for logon then it’s a permissions issue.

    7. Tick/untick the allow anonymous connections box under IIS to the default website and reboot the server.
