    Hi ConfGen,

I have an issue I hope you may help me with.

On two of our thin clients, Dell Wyse T10D, we suddenly today got a message of “RDP require network layer authentication”. I think this may have something to do with the firmware, so I was planning to update this. Both have version 8.0_210.

I found the new Firmware, 8.6_206 on Dell.com and downloaded this. In this download there was two files, DOVE_boot and Dove_boot.i2d, both copied to the folder \WYSE\ on the FTP server. We also made a wnos.ini in \WYSE\wnos\ with the parameters; Autoload=1 loadpkg=1 Addpkg=TCX,FR,horizon. As told in the info with this file from Dell.

I add the FTP address, username and password in the General tab on the client and restart.

On the client, in system information” I get error “Invalid statement: LoadPkg”, “Invalid statement: Addpkg”, “checking software ftp://wnos/T10D_wnos” and “checking software ftp://wnos/T10D_bios”.

On the FTP server I can see that the client also tries to check the file “\wyse\wnos\T10D_EC.bin”

The only file I can see from the download, and that is copied to FTP server, is DOVE_boot. What am I missing here?

I have used a hole day on this  and got nowhere – so any help is appreciated!

    Kind regards,
    Roy
