XPe temporary internet files storage location and size issue

    Hi CG,

    Hope you are fine and good health.

    I am facing the problem while opening the PDF files through XPe IE7.

    It suddenly remove the TIF location and fixed the size of TIF storage to 0 MB on restart or shutdown the TC. When I go to realocate the TIF location and storage size it shows me an error below.

    If anybody knows about this problem knidly share with me.

    (Note: Default TIF location is Z:Temporary Internet Files, Storage Size is 15 MB. Write Filter is enabled.)

    Does it work when you move the location to eg an USB stick?

    Hi CG,

    No, It does not work. It always prompt an error above.

    I also tried it on various firmware but the result is same. It unexpectedly remove the TIF location and fixed the size 0 MB.

    Tested on the following firmwares.

    Version 4.05, Build 576
    Version 5.02, Build 611
    Version 5.02, Build 625

    What happens if you redirect the tmp and temp variable in the Environment Variables to a stick?

    Hi all,

    TIF location and size error has resolved in recent version of XPe Service Pack 3 image.

    I have tested it on the following devices and images.

    C90LE_6.01_B666.1024
    V90L_6.01_B673.1024
