XenApp6.5 and the Taskbar

    We are testing a few Xenith Pro Rx0L units on XenApp 6.5RP1/Win2k8R2 using published desktops. I have some other Xenith models, but I have not tested them yet. So far they have been working great. Fast boot time and easy setup.

    One glitch so far with my dual monitor users. The taskbar location is not always consistent. Sometimes it runs on Monitor 1, sometimes on 2. Occasionally, it will span across both screens, making one big screen. I’ve seen this on new logins, and on session reconnects. In the cases of the session reconnects, it occurs when the session is being reconnected to the same WYSE client it disconnected from. But it is very inconsistent.

    We are not having this issue on our windows clients.

    I originally did not have any monitor config in my xen.ini, since we have a variety of configurations. But here is what I am currently testing:
    Dualhead=yes Mainscreen=2 Orientation=hort Align=Bottom Monitor AutoDetect=yes

    I am hoping the AutoDetect function allows my single monitor devices to function properly.

    Anybody come across this issue?

    Sorry.. Digging for another issue and I found this old post. This turned out to be an issue with 2.0.015 firmware that I was running. It shows a corrected in the next release. A firmware upgrade cleared the issue.
