Hi there,
We have a number of devices in our company – T00x, T00DX, C00x.
The current firmware versions range from 2.0_017, 2.0_214, 2.0_306, 2.0_411, 2.1_031 and 2.3_011.
I tried to upgrade some of my T00x devices to 2.3_011 and it updates fine using the T00_bin file. However, once it updates i swap the T00_bin with the old version so that all the other devices wont update and then once it reboots it picks up the old version and downgrades to 2.0_xxx even-though autoload is set to 2 . Is there a way to stop this ?
Also, is there a totally new type of firmware for these devices? Is it Thin OS ? Are there different ini file format required?
Thanks in advance,
mada999
The T00 does not have enough local flash space to store the firmware. Therefore, it will load it eaach time at boot.
If you change the firmware now on your fileserver, it will always load this on, regardless of the autoload parameter.
In the past Wyse and Dell had two ThinOS versions. One was called Xenith or ThinOS lite and the other simply ThinOS.
The difference was, that ThinOS has everything that ThinOS lite has, but also other connection protocols like RDP.

thanks for that…
Which firmware and version should we use for these devices and what is the latest version?
thanks in advance
You cannot convert these device to run full ThinOS. Therefore, you have to stay with ThinOS lite aka Xenith.
Latest firmware version is 2.4_108

Appreciate it thanks very much 🙂
