I have a 5 x WYSE s90’s in a point of sale situation each with a Magellan 1000 USB Scanner, Citizen Serial Pole Displays, Citizen 1000 USB Printers and cash drawers. 3 of the 5 S90’s work perfectly, the other 2 S90’s show the Magellan scanner as an “unkown device” in device manager. I have reimaged the 2 S90’s to be exacly the same as one of the other working s90’s and they still show the scanner as an unknown device, has anyone had this issue elsewhere with barcode scanners? We have of course swapped the Scanners between the devices and still have the same problem.
Have you tried different USB ports also?

Yes I have tried all USB ports on S90 as well as a powered hub

Hi,
What image version is the firmware? Can you take the driver on the working device and load it to the non-working devices?
Also check the BIOS versions on the devices,
Cheers,
