I was given a WYSE internal articles on how to setup a RSP file to be used by DDC. However I was under the impression you could create the RSP file and send update package like you do for Linux based client. I am able to create the package but when package is sent to client it never get complete or attempted in Update Manager.

My question is does WTOS support RSP packages without DDC?

how do you feel about CCM? It look better than Profile Manager to me, and allows the flexibility or incorporating INI parameter, Profile manager does not allow this ATM, and is lacking some key INI settings.

The rsp file based ThinOS packages are only for use with DDC.
With WDM 5.7+ you can use the inbuild WCM (Configuration Manager – Device Configuration – New JSON config) to create a ThinOS config and simply push it to the client.

Thanks. That is unfortunate, from initial testing is seems WCM is missing INI syntax SignOn=Yes and Citrix XML broker support. The SignOn Syntax is necessary to enable Citrix Anonymous. I did test incorporating the WCM based Citrix configuration with INI file that sets SignOn=yes, and that worked. However I am not sure if this is good practice.

Maybe not a good practise, but the only one you have at the moment.
