I’ve got a WT1200LE with 5.0.x firmware;
accidentially it connected to by ftp server and DOWNGRADED (autoload=2 in the wnos.ini file) for 4.4.079.
The system is still booting but showing a login screen now.*What are the login credential for this screen?
*Where do I get 5.x firmware files to it fixed?Regards
GuntherDecember 16, 2006 at 4:15 am #8921Hi Gunther,
Autoload=2 will stop this happening – if you had Autoload=1 this forces the downgrade to the older firmware.
The login secreen will be caused if you have the line signon=1, change it to =0 and you will get the open desktop or G-Key the unit off the network.
To get the 5x firmware you will have to email wyse support in your area – make sure you explian what happened and provide the serial number of the unit.
I hope this helps, unfortunatly the 5 firmware is not avaliable on the public wyse site as they sell it as an upgrade now,
Cheers,

I already contacted Wyse support about this issue and hope they are helping me (but I didn’t get a reply yet).
As the device is just one year old (manufactured Dec.2005) I hope they are willing to help.
Anyway:
Any idea what login credentials are necessary to login into the “downgraded” device?
I can’t find any default username/password in the documentation.Gunther
December 17, 2006 at 6:28 pm #8923I did a shutdown and reset to factory settings and now the login screen is gone.
So the only problem left is to get to the firmware 5.0.x as delivered.
I’ll see what Wyse support can/is willing to do for me.December 17, 2006 at 11:04 pm #8924I am sure you will get the firmware. If you post back your wnos.ini file we can try and work out why you got the login screen. Unfortunatly unless the login is configured to point to something (NTLM, Citrix, text files) there is no way to log in. This is because there is no local authentication system or users on the device, it goes off and tries to look up the username.
