    Dear All,

I can’t see any settings related to WebCAM in WMS 1.4, the Camera in VDI session (Teams) lags and there is a drop in audio call while the cam running, once we close the CAM the audio quality become fine.

    Can you please advise

    Hi CG,

We have 3030 LT and 3040 running 8.6 and managed by WMS 1.4, the camera is Microsoft Lifecam Studio (Model 1425), It’s listed among the tested peripherals in 8.6 Release notes (link below)

Want to note: we have in our environment repurposed old machine running Windows Embedded with a built-in camera and Mic and it works fine. The issue is happening only with Wyse.

There are some parameters to configure the cam. However, they are not part of the WMS GUI.
Easiest would be either download the ThinOS INI Parameter guide or use my Configuration Generator tool to explorer possible parameters.
You can then use those in WMS under “Advanced” in your policy.

The problem could be, that there is currently no Teams optimization available.
Do you see the lagging in other apps also?
