I recently upgraded WDM to 5.7.1 from 5.0. However a small percentage of my Win CE devices are not checking into WDM post upgrade. I am able to get stations that are not reporting to report again by initiating remote session into client and logging out and back in. Not sure what could have made them stop checking in. Are there any remediation step to take server side or has the client just stopped attempting to check in.
What is the difference between the working and non-working ones?
CE is no longer supported within WDM. Although Dell has never removed the support, they simply no longer test with these old devices.

No difference. Once clients where reset they did start reporting in again. Hopefully we will be getting rid of these CE client sometime soon.
