Hi All,
I’ve been landed with the job of bringing all our S30 Thin Clients up to a consistent firmware version.
Most of the devices are reported as running Windows CE.Net while the newer ones run Windows CE 6.0.
I’ve pulled down the latest images from Wyse’s website, but have discovered that the WDM has some sort of filter on the package distribution wizard, so that it only shows updates of the same OS version (so the CE.Net clients can get one image version, while the CE 6.0 can get a different one).
Is anyone aware if it’s possible to convert the CE.Net devices to use the CE 6.0 image?
Unfortunately the devices are distributed all around the country so I need to use WDM or similar remote imaging tools to do this.
Many Thanks,
Paul
Check the corresponding .rsp files. There is a value called OS=.
Play around with this one.
