I am new to this site and wyse. I am assisting my colleague and eventually will take admin position handling all wyse stuff. We are deploying flash drives with the v10 image on them and sending them out to remote sites and from there they will boot terminal with drive. I would think doing the PXE image would be alot faster and cheaper. Except i am new to this so i need some direction on how to go about doing this. They have tried it before but said that some of the machines did not get full image so they didnt work, more so the remote sites that are further away from network. How can i go about creating an image and sending it out to remote sites?

Sorry should have been more clear. The terminals we are using are wyse v30 models and want them to be converted to v10’s.

So you are having V30 units and sending out a USB flash drive to the remote location. They are then using the stick to convert the V30 to V10. Is that correct?
To get PXE working in a remote location is not that easy. You would have to configure each router to pass PXE requests to the PXE server by adding IP Helper addresses to the router.
Then you would have to have the needed conversion kit from Wyse.
