We had a problem terminal in our Charleston office. I had them send it back to us and it is doing it here also (we have other Wyse V10L’s functioning fine at both locations). It hangs on contacting H Server and then reboots.

I don’t know the default username and password for the Administrator mode and the terminal is locked down from the last time it talked to the WNOS file.

It has the latest V10L image on it, it may have become corrupt. I tried to download the USB formatter the would take it back to factory but I have had no luck.

    Any Ideas?

    Thanks

    Hi,

It sounds like it has an issue all right, I would send that one back to the Wyse authorised service center to be flashed and tested. If it just stopped working one day while other devices around it work it sounds like hardware issue,

    Cheers,

I have another that started doing this exact same thing. Could this be a firmware issue?

What firmware is installed on the units?
Don’t you have access to the original wnos.ini file and can check the settings there? Please post.
Ask Wyse support to give you a PXE enabled version of the firmware. This way you use either USB flashing or Wyse Simple Imager to reflash the units. Just go to the BIOS (press DEL while seeing the big Wyse screen and enter “Fireport” as password) and change boot order to LAN first.

    Cheers
