    Hello,
Recently my company has been randomly chosen by Microsoft to do a licensing audit. We have about 150 wyse thin-client spread out across our network mostly S30’s. We do have some older 1200’s, 3125’s, 3150’s and we have recently been purchasing V90’s with XPe. Obviously I don’t need to worry about the 1200’s. I want to know if there is a way to pull the ‘product key’ from my CE devices through WDM. Also, I want to be able to pull the microsoft registration code from the XPe devices. These can be found when going to Control Panel and then System.
It would save a lot of time and effort if I could pull this info through WDM instead of connecting to each device through VNC and manually copy down the info I need.
Thanks in advance for your help,

If you know the registry key where this info is stored, we can create a small script.

I’m sure I could figure where in the registry the XPe devices store the key but we only have a handful of those. I’m more interested in the S30’s and I have no idea where Windows CE would store this info except for the places I described.
Looks like I will have to VNC to each terminal.

Thanks for the response though, much appreciated. Love the site, it has helped me out a lot in the past…
    Sean
