Hey all,
Trying to troubleshoot an annoying problem.
When you’re auto-logged on as “user” with the V90, when you then try to connect into to a RDP session, it will pass through the “user” username into the User Name field.
Anyone know how to make this not happen?
I’m running a custom .rdp file and i’ve tried altering the “username:s:” to nothing, “”, <> but to no avail.
Ideas?
HI all – I found a fix for this.
On the RDP destination, do the following
– Start regedit
– Edit the following key – HKLMSystemCurrentControlSetControlTerminal ServerWinStationsRDP-TCP
– Set the fInheritAutoLogon as false – i.e. 0
– Set the fPromptForPassword as true – i.e. 1
– Set the domain as applicable
Made my life a lot easier – hope it helps others!
