    Hi,

I am dealing with more or less 400 wyse devices and I would like them to boot up at 7 AM.

I did check the BIOS and the option to do so is available. I noticed that almost every device has a different time.

Is it possible to synch the BIOS date and time to the WMS server or even on the network?

Is it possible to manage boot up from the server instead of the bios?

    Thanks a lot.

    N.

PS, I am using 3040 and WMS with bios firmware 8.6 and 9.4

    Hello,

To synch data & time, in WMS, it’s the section “Configuration du périphérique” and “Paramètres généraux”. You can use a time server like “fr.pool.ntp.org” or your Windows’s domain like “mydomain.lan”.

For ThinOS 9, it’s similaire : first section “Paramètres Région et langue” for time server.

    Hi GroOll,

thanks for the answer but this is setup already. When the terminal is turned on by the end users, the date and time are correct. It is in the BIOS (F12 at boot) that the problem occur. It seems the bios clock is not the same as the OS clock.

When I setup the proper time and date in the BIOS, the next morning, the system does not boot at the requested time but 2 hours later.

    Thank you
