I’ve upgraded some 3030’s to Thinos 8.6 without issue. When I upgrade a 3040 to Thinos 8.6, I receive an error message when making an RD connection:
Remote Desktop License issue–there is a problem with your remote desktop license and your session will disconnect in 60 minutes.
When I downgrade the 3040 back to Thinos 8.5 the error goes away and the RDC can be made.
Any ideas? Thanks
Add the INI parameter to factory reset the clients after upgrade.
This will fix it.

Factory reset??? I think I’ll skip this one and wait for 8.7. Thanks
Why? If you have DHCP option tags in place to tell the client where to find the wnos.ini, they will grab it directly after the reset and reconfigure themself automatically.
No issues here.
