Hey guys, this is what I got from wyse support:
I have analyzed the log file you attached. The log says that username/password is not matching for the ftproot/rapport folder access. This means you need to check whether there is a local user named rapport and whether the password is set for the same user as r@p8p0r+. If not change the password and sync the password in FTP repository section of your WDM Server.
Hope it helps you to install the hotfix.
I did as suggested and reset the local rapport user password and synced it in the WDM server console, I was then able to install the hotfix. It now detects thin clients and I can use hyphens in computer names..
Hi guys,
just to let you know that the update fix solve the problem for me.
In my case only a few Windows thin client were discover, while a lot of V50, V50LE and S10 were not discovered.
After apply the fix, they started appear in the list.
