    Hi.

Thanks for the brilliant tool ConfGen is!

I’m currently deploying T10D’s across my WAN and have managed to create a wnos.ini file that works fine apart from two issues:
    – VNC server accepts connections using the password I’ve set, up until the first time the terminal gets a reboot – from then on it refuses all connection attempts. A factory default reset fixes this, albeit temporarily.
    – The factory default reset option is not available until after the first reboot – is this normal?

WTOS version is 8.1_027, remote system is Citrix XenApp, Storefront style

    This is my wnos.ini:

The wnos.ini looks good to me.
    – VNC should work this way. Never had the issue that it is only working the first time. Are you sure that you only have this one wnos.ini in place? Maybe the client is reading in a different on after the first boot.
    – This would also explain your second issue. With Privilege=none you should never see the “factory default” option.

I think I may be getting closer to something:
    – There is only one wnos.ini on the whole server
    – The “nice and graphical” startup screen with Dell in the top right corner does not go away on reset to factory defaults
    – I just tested one from a batch I received a month ago, image version 8.0_411 which does work as expected
    – On the latter the System information window shows up on reset and the “nice and graphical” startup screen has the Wyse logo in the lower right corner

Would it make sense to assume that the problem may be related to image version?

I tried to create a config in WDM -> Configuration Manager -> Device configuration very early on, but could not get it to take – was that just a waste of time or may the newest image be looking at it in some way?

Removing the “Test config” made no difference, so there’s probably something spooky with the image …
