    We are using some W2008R2 Terminal Server and different models of ThinClients (S10, T10 and V10LE). So far we have’nt use a wnos.ini, all settings were made directly in the ThinClient. But now it is necessary to shadow some of these ThinClients via VNC. So I tried some settings in a test environment and I have some problems.

    If I use this settings with a T10 firmware8.xx …

    LowBand=yes
    MaxVNCD=1
    VncPassword=”test4711″
    VncPrompt=No

    … the previously configured RDP setting in the T10 disappears. Only when I remove the wnos.ini from the ftp folder the settings appear again after a reboot but is is not possible to shadow the T10 with VNC. Is there a setting for the wnos.ini that prevents this? Or have I to use a $mac.ini for every single ThinClient to configure the RDP settings?

    As soon as you are switching to a centralized config (*.ini file), locally configured session will get hidden. You will have to configure everything in the wnos.ini, mac.ini or username.ini.

    You can keep your locally configured RDP sessions by adding this to your wnos.ini file:

    EnableLocal=yes
