Got an issue with smooth roaming on our PS4 environment. Reconencting to a disconnected session works fine if using a PC/Laptop but not from a WYSE unit (3125se and V30). It works if you’re using the same unit that the session originatd on (suspect the client ID is recognised by LB and so sends it back to the same server).

The problem arrises when you go to a different unit and connect to the published desktop. The LB throws you onto the lowest loaded server and when you enter logon details it should be moving the session to the server with the disconencted session, but it doesn’t.

    This might help explain:

We’ve got a PS4 farm with approx 40 servers hosting upto 50 conenctions each (of 2000 sessions we’re looking at 400 disconnected which are hogging servers)
WYSE clients are V30 and 3125SE CE based with ICA9 (tested on ICA10 with same outcome)

    Any ideas?

    Cheers CG

    3125se have CE5.0FR2 image ID 486.6 with ICA9.0
    V30 have CE5.0FR2 image ID 566 with ICA9.04

I’ve also tried this using the latest downloadable image (V30) from WYSE without modifiying anything.

Just in case anyone else stumbles across this issue….

Wasn’t down to just CE based devices. This functionality isn’t possible with full PN. Need to be utilising PNAgent or WI. Our laptops are setup to use pass-through authentication which is why it works there and over CAG.
