Setup Jetdirect printer via mac.ini for C50LE

    We are using FTP and ini files to have a device connect to a Citrix Desktop.
    Everythng is working except getting the printer to install.
    Does anyone have the code to have the printer installed?
    This would be a IP printer model HP4100

    Here is what we have done so far.
    JetDirectPrinter=socket://172.21.52.53:9100 Name=”MCINS25Q” ModelID=”HP LaserJet 4100″ Enable=yes

    Nothing installs when doing it this way.
    I have also changed the ModelID to “Generic / Text Only” and it still will not install.

    I guess you are using the 4100N with integrated JetDirect interface.
    Try this:
    JetDirectPrinter=172.21.52.53 Name=”MCINS25Q” ModelID=”HP LaserJet 4100″ Enable=yes
