When I use the bouncing logo screensaver, the monitor never goes to sleep. Is that what it is supposed to do? Or is there a way to have it go ahead and sleep the monitor after a certain amount of time in screensaver mode?
Even if you use Type=0 (turn screen off) it never actually puts the monitor to sleep, just makes it go dark.
Hi,
The screen saver should turn off with =0 after a period of time from memory but definitely will not with any other setting. You could also try just setting the screen saver with a time out and not type setting,
Cheers,
-TT
There is no way to put the monitor to sleep. Just switch it to dark.
