I have a Wyse 3125SE that I am trying to re-image. I got the error that the Flash device was not found and I needed to use NetXfer to reimage the OS. I downloaded Netxfer and the firmware version, even though I am not sure if it is the correct version. I followed the directions and changed the name to bootp, bin and started the process. I am using a cross over cable and everything seems to progress fine. After sitting still at the “Parsing download header files for about an hour, my screen on the winterm turns from black to a wierd series of colors and blocks and just sits. Nothing is changing on my laptop and it has been sitting like this for an hour. This is the first winterm that I have reimaged and I need to know if this is correct. Please help, I have spent way to much time on this already.
Have you started the 3125 with p-key pressed to initiate the flash process?
CG
Well, I started the winterm by holding down the p key, while I plugged in the winterm. I got the netxfer information. It just gets stuck after the download and won’t move from that point.
