Is there a way to overwrite a WDM server setting entered manually into WTOS device. I have put the INI parameter “WDMServer=” in the wnos.ini file but it does not seem to overwrite this setting when entered manually. Other than a factory default, DHCP option tags is there a way to force overwrite the WDM server setting via INI file? Maybe RSP file.
Looks like there is something wron gin your environment.
If I enter a WDM address manually at the client plus adding the “WDMServer=” parameter to my wnos.ini, the INI parameter wins and the local setting is overwritten.
Which firmware version are you using?
How does your wdmserver= parameter look like exactly?

WTOS version is 8.0_508. My WDM settings are as follows:
WDMServer=”192.168.1.2″
Which WDM version are you using? If 5.5 or higher, try WDMServer=”https://192.168.1.2″

I tried with the configuration you mentioned above. I get the same results.
I am basically trying to have the client talk to another WDM server. Do the devices lock unto a WDM server until you do a factory default?
No, they are not locked. They will (should) pick up the new address from your wnos.ini file and use it – except you push out that old WDM server address via DHCP option tag or DNS entry.

Okay make sense. Location is remote so my I can not control infrastructure items as much as I would like. I am going to have our network team or local resource verify if the network has any interfering items in place. I wish D10DP allow network traces to be save on location other than a local USB drive.
