Hi guys,
I have Wyse Dell T10 clients with 8.3_109 firmware using Citrix XenApp 4.5 – 7.13.
I am trying to filter which applications appear on users desktop.
When I use wnos.ini entry: sessionconfig=ica ondesktop=Chrome – all works fine and “Chrome” appears on the desktop.
However, when I try to show applications with spaces in their names, the apps don’t appear, e.g.:
sessionconfig=ica ondesktop=Google Chrome – does not work and “Google Chrome” does not appear on the desktop.
I have tried many variations like:
– ondesktop=GoogleChrome
– ondesktop=Google:Chrome
– ondesktop=Google$Chrome
– ondesktop=CITRIXFARMNAME:GoogleChrome
but nothing works.
I cannot use ondesktop=applications and then permission users accordingly in AD as we have some Citrix apps published for ALL Active Directory users while these apps cannot be present on the desktop.
Am I missing something or it is not possible?
Thanks!
Have you tried ondesktop=”Google Chrome”?
