I am now using a DHCP server instead of using the custon tags in my lab.. Company has warmed up to the idea of using a real dhcp server instead of on the router. The WDM and DHCP server ( DHCP Turbo 3.0 )are on the ( 10.10.5.x ) network. I have 2 ip helper addresses per the documentation on my ethernet interface on the 10.10.2.x network. One to the DHCP server ( 10.10.5.6 ) and one to the WDM server ( 10.10.5.7 ). I know the dhcp server is running because when my terminal boots to XPE it is pulling an address from my pool ( 10.10.2.27 ) and communicating fine. WDM sees the device as PXE Enable YES. But if I kick off an image I get the error..

ProxyDHCP offer Recieved. No DHCP offer recieved

and it fails.. Any ideas?? I have it set up perfect according to the Wyse documentation.

Do you have Cisco switches? You may need to go into the spanning tree options and set portfast to enable.

Have a search on this site for key word “Cisco”

    Cheers,

not running through cisco swithces. They are regular 5 port net gear small ones. The routers in my lab setup are 2 Cisco 1751 connected by a simulated T1 serial cable.

I found a mistake that I had made.. I had the ip helper addresses in the wrong sequence order. Changed them around and now I am getting both a dhcp response and a dhcp proxy response. Awsome

Here is what I am seeing now. I can push an image to the device accross subnets. But when pulling an image ( Get Image PXE ) it says no boot file found.. I see both servers answering the dhcp requests and making the link.

    Any ideas..
