Hello there I currently having an issue for a long time with a Dell Wyse 3040.

I’ve just replaced a new motherboard and so need to key in the Hardware revision, Wyse Flag and Security Key.

    Hardware revision: 0001

    Flag: 0013

    Security Key: 01090737

After keying everything in, it boots up fine. So I proceeded to made a new bootable using the Dell USB Imaging tool.

    USB imaging tool ver: 3.1

OS : Thin OS Merlin 8.6_013

I got the error code 313 for multiple times, used Windows 10 Enterprise and even Windows 7 Ultimate sp1 with recommended thumbdrive like Kingston and Sandisk, still kept getting the Error Code 313.

Dell has confirmed that the OS/bootable is correct.

I went and searched online and found out there is another Security Key related to the Wyse 3040.

    Old Security Key: 01090737

    New Security Key: 01090837

I hereby asking for help about is there a way to reset the Old Security key and key in a new one.

    Thanks in advance

There is no way for you to change the security key.
