hello wyse folk!
I have a requirement to have a file written and that data persist across reboots on Wyse S90 devices.
I notice that the EWFMGR.exe has a -persist= switch however when I attempt to specify a Directory or file to “persist” an error is received.
*** Setting persistent data for the protected volume.
Failed setting protected volume configuration with error 87
the parameter is incorrect.
Can this be done?
what is the correct parameter?
🙄
Hi,
You will have to use the latest S90 image on wyse.com with the file base write filter – this allows you to use a GUI to allow file exclusions.
With the older Enhanced Write Filter you could only exclude partitions hence the error that a directory can not be specified,
Cheers,
-TT
