    Hi guys,

I have a v10L here.. I was wondering if someone could please teach me how to use the [username].ini? is there any external resources involved like Domain server or something? does the {signon=yes} calls the username.ini? can it retrieve password from the username.ini or with the passwords in the username.ini sends it to the server then verifies? as i have observed from the confgen v.5 the signon belongs to the network, so it verifies in the server? ❓

I don’t have much experience in network server administration but i can really learn fast, I hope i could cope up with server thing discussions… 🙂

    Regards,

    Keith

If you are using SignOn=yes you would have to have some authentication server in the background. This could be a NTLM based server or any XenApp/XenDesktop/View/VDI Connection Broker server. As NTLM is not that secure I recommend one of the latter.
Just put a file with the same name as the login user name in a subdirectory called ini beneath wnos and all should be fine.

could it be possible for the terminal to save the password locally? I want more than 2 users but i want different desktop user interface for them. can this be possible? local security doesn’t matter that much for the user, they will be accessing different servers.

I’m currently experimenting, maybe could figure this out later.. 😆

Local saving of the password is not possible.
