How to print to shared printer on non-domain PC?

    The code below was made using ConfGenerator…

    Printer=SMB1 LocalName=”Printer” Host=OfficePC Name=”Deskjet 5600″ PrinterID=”Deskjet 5600″ Enabled=yes Username=username Password=password Domain=workgroup

    I have been trying to print to a shared printer on another PC, running Windows XPe. The computers name is OfficePC, it is not on the domain, just a workgroup…called workgroup. Has anyone managed to get this kind of thing working?

    Two things to test:
    Host= use an IP instead of name
    PrinterID= use the exact printer driver name here
