Hello,
How are users expected to connect to their home WiFi when privilege is set to none? Using WMS 2.1 and latest ThinOS.
Best regards,
AGELA
Best and easiest way would be to “open” the Network configuration to users.
Open Privacy & Security and select Privilege=Customize,
Then activate Network Setup

We’ve had a LOT of issues with users inputing their WIFI pwd wrong OR selecting the wrong ssid and its gotten hung up. With the older version of ThinOS and ThinOS lite we have just gone into the device level and changed the pwd to something easy for them. In cases where they do not have internet we’ve had to walk users through connecting to their hotspot OR hardwiting it to their router temporarily so that the settings push down to the device and they can blank out the pwd/enter the new one. Then change the pwd back after they are done and connected
Hi CG,
Privacy & Security menu would be for ThinOS 9.x policy.
What is the procedure for the ‘regular’ ThinOS policy?
Thanks in advance.
With ThinOS 8 policies you would have to use the Advanced section and add INI parameters.
In this case
Privilege=none EnableNetworkSetup=yes DisableNetworkOptions=yes
