Tagged: Static IP address
Goodmorning,
Is it possible to give a WTOS device a fixed / static IP and make use of WTOS.ini?
We do not use a live DHCP server in our enviroment.
The idea is to create a WNOS.ini for each device and make use of the mirrorFileserver=yes parameter so no FTP and DHCP is necessary.
regards J.
I found out that loading the WNOS.ini from the FTP server and make use of the mirrorFileserver=yes caches the config as expected.
After this i have changed the network manual to a static IP.
The end result is a working cached config with a custom static IP.
