We have had the dual display splitters for a while now, and decided to use them with our T10 units.

I have been able to get them to work – but not exactly how we want. The displays Span, but instead of the usual extended mode we have on our desktops, the screens get treated as one big display.

For most things, this is fine, but login screens spanning the middle of both displays and some of our older legacy applications are not only clunky, but the disadvantages almost outweigh the advantages of dual monitors. These apps are not as much an issue with “Extend” these displays on our desktops.

Is there anyway to get the behavior to act more like 2 monitors in extended mode, rather than windows seeing both as one big screen?

If it helps, we are using Windows 7 with VMWare View as our broker.

    thanks in advance,

    John

Which version of Windows 7 are you using? Not all do support dualscreen.
T10 should not have an issue with it. Working perfectly fine for me.

    I am using Windows 7 64Bit w/SP1

Both screens come up fine – but it’s treating two screens as 1 big screen. Is this a limitation of RDP?

    Thanks,

    John

Actually, I now know what you are referring to – I saw that Multi Monitor mode is not supported in Windows 7 other than Ultimate and Enterprise. Go figure. We are using Windows 7 Pro.

    Yes, that’s what I meant.
