DNS or WINS regsistration?

    I need to know the number of devices that use WINS in order to ascertain the number of required WINS servers. This impacts directly on the Wyse S30 terminals we are using- can anyone tell me whether a Wyse S30 uses WINS or DNS for registration purposes?

    Hi Spot,

    Use DNS for CE and all other Wyse devices. Can I ask why you would use WINS at all in a network? It really is not required for Microsoft Networking any more, if you can just go with DNS.
