Dell Wyse win 10 Iot Error with Windows installer Service.

    Hi,

    I am currently facing an issue with Dell Wyse 5020 with win 10 IOT,  I have installed MS Office 2016 , when Write filter is enable , MS office applications do not open and gives ERROR “1719 Windows Installer Service could not be accessed”.

     

    Any help in this regard will be highly appreciated.

    Due to license restrictions from MS it is not allowed to install Office on an embedded Windows.
    Therefore, it will be hard to get someone who can share some experiences.

    MS office 2016 is working fine  if the write filter is disabled. As soon as I enable the write filter  MS office applications stop working and give the error mention above.

    It is not about working or not working. It is about licensing violation.
