I’ve deployed over 150 of these and regularly these Thins are changing the resolution setting on its own, time and the printer that is installed locally (network printer) also goes missing. I check the device and the write protection is enabled and not in admin mode. Does anyone have this problem? I just spoke to wise support and they told me I could have these running of a .INI file but I can’t find any documentation on this.
This sounds familiar to another post recently put up on here. I don’t recall the resolution change, but the printers may have had something to do with the netXclean utility running, not sure.
Under c:WINDOWSSystem32NetxClean.ini, correlates to the Client Cleanup service. You can set this to “0”, to Not Clean profiles. This may be the file they are talking about…
