Just like me many other people are getting the error message “connection reset by peer” when you are trying to connect to a Citrix Server XenApp server updated with RollUp pack 4 (PSE450W2K3R04.msp).
more info can be found here: http://forums.citrix.com/thread.jspa?threadID=244712
For now i haven’t found any solution yet, maybe someone els here did ?
my enviroment :
– Windows 2003 (with all updates)
– Citrix Presentation Server 4.5 with RollUp Pack 4
– Wyse S10 and V10L with FW 6.3.0.22April 29, 2009 at 2:03 pm #15726Wyse is actively working on this issue. No fix until today other than remove R04.

May 11, 2009 at 9:47 am #15824Just got the info that there is a beta fix for this. No confirmation currently if this is really fixing the issue. But my guess is, that there shold be a solution in this week.

May 11, 2009 at 9:58 am #15827Thanks CG, I have logged a case with Wyse and we will just have to wait.
May 12, 2009 at 9:35 am #15836I have just been advised by Wyse that they are working towards a fix in the latest version of the OS.
They advised that it is related to basic encryption and that if you set it to 40-bit it should work. I have not tried this so cannot confirm.
Have not had an ETA as of yet.
May 12, 2009 at 11:33 am #15839Jason, do you use S10 or V10L?

We did recieved firmware 6.3.0.25 and did a test on the XenApp 4.5 with RollUp Pack 4 and the weird thing was that S10 where not able to connect to the server but the V10L was able to connect.
We updated both S10 and V10L with FW 6.3.0.25.
Anyway still waiting for Wyse (did send the needed info to Wyse).
May 22, 2009 at 2:23 pm #159206.3.0.25 Beta fixed the issue on my V10L , I had tried setting enc. to 40 bit before trying the beta, but no luck. I believe there is a .26 or .27 out also
May 22, 2009 at 2:42 pm #15921Latest version currently is 6.3.0_027 but it is still some kind of weird as it is fixing the issue for some people but not for all.
