    Hi.

    Does anyone know if ThinOS will support EDT soon? Can´t get a word out of Dell.

    Citrix EDT have existed for about 2 years and I am still waiting for Dell to support it.

    We really need it to give our branch offices in Far East a better better experience

    That is the disadvantage with Wyse ThinOS.

    They are way to slow to support and update their OS even though we pay for SA.

    EDT has existed for almost two years !

    I will keep on waiting…

    Hi guys,

    Anyone tested EDT on Wyse 3010/3014 and 8.6_B013?

    It looks like it is now supported. It’s strange it’s so quiet about it…
    I am just trying to set it up but get “Protocol Driver Error”.

    OK so it means it’s limited to DTLS audio as it says “DTLS audio limitation” in: https://topics-cdn.dell.com/pdf/wyse-thinos-maintenance_release-notes11_en-us.pdf

    I was not sure whether it is actually limited to DTLS audio or it excludes it…

    Hi everyone,

    I tested thinOS 8.6_013 on wyse 5010, session doesnt connect via UDP. HDX Adaptive transport policy is set, VDA is enabled with UDP ports. it works when i connect from receiver installed on a Windows desktop.

    any idea if Adaptive transport is enabled in 8.6_013 ThinOS ?

    Guys,
    As we are waiting for EDT to be available in ThinOS, I was wondering if any of you know, or tried to check in practice whether existing ThinOS 8.6 can benefit from recent HDX improvements introduced in Virtual Apps and Desktops 1811 described here:

    The Citrix client in 8.6 is the same as in 8.5.
    Therefore, no enhancements to be expected.

    EDT will be part of ThinOS 9.0 expected end of Q1 20
