I need to justify not using anti-virus on Wyse S30’s with CE! 🙄
I know and understand the security of CE used on the Wyse S30’s, and it appears that Wyse and their partners do not have an anti virus offering…Does anyone know of any third party CE anti-virus software on the market?
Thanks…
Hi Spot,
The justification is simple, no one makes AV for CE as this OS has only a few issues with security. The market place does not view CE as a potential for Virus Infection. This is a benefit of CE that you do not need to buy AV.
Most people do not bother with AV on XPe for that matter either, just put it on your Citrix/Terminal Servers and scan you Mail and Web traffic.
Cheers,
-TT
