    Hi All,

Citrix/Wyse newb here so please bare with me. I am having issues connecting my C10LE to the published desktop on my XenApp servers. I connect using the PN-Agent via the Citrix Web Interface, which is on the same server as the Secure Gateway.

The C10LE is picking up the INI file and is talking to the PNAgent site. The Program Neighbourood Agent appears and Desktop is in the list of Published applications. However, when I attempt to connect to the application the connection times out. If I use the full Citrix Online plug-in on a PC to connect in the same way it works fine.

Also, the server that runs the Web Interface logs an error, event ID 40002, in the application log, with description “An error occurred while enumerating a user’s resources. An unrecognized XML message was received from a user device.”

Does anyone have any idea what may be wrong?

    Thanks in advance,

    Giles

Which connection is not working then? The published app or the Desktop session defined in your wnos.ini?

What are you using as SERVERNAME? The same value as for the PNliteServer?
Can you try an IP address?

No, just the server name. e.g.: SERVER-CTX-WEB

No change I’m afraid. The Web Interface server picks up the attempted login in both cases in the application log, resulting in the same error as described above

Could there be an issue due to the fact there is a space and a special character in the farm name?

    I.e. “M&P XenApp6”

That could be. I am not sure of the “&” symbol is supported by Citrix/MS/Wyse.

I can confirm that, now I have created a new farm with a different name (no special characters) the Wyse is connecting properly.

    How frustrating!

Many thanks for your help ConfGen.

    Giles
