Ok, here is the scenario. We are deploying XenDesktop 4 to a remote office. We put in place a Wyse C10LE and in house everything was working fine. We moved it to our remote office which is connected over the VPN and everything works good except the audio. I ran the HDX Monitor when logged into the XenDesktop from the C10LE and the only audio issue we get is that its using a legacy audio compression. I’m guessing this is caused by the WTOS not having HD audio driver or something, but why would it make the sound so choppy? When logging into XenDesktop on a windows box it shows an HD quality audio compression and the sound works find so its pointing to the C10LE. Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance,
Zach
Not sure but I think your guess with the missing HD Audio support is correct.
Looks like the compression works fine in LAN but not WAN environment.

I saw somewhere else on here that there is a WTOS 7 release in works for maybe this month? I can’t get on the support website yet as we are still getting licensing issues straightened out, but does anyone know if they released this. And if they did, did it add more compatibility that could potentially fix this issue?
Thanks,
Zach
Looks like the release of WTOS7 is moved 4-6 weeks.
But I don’t know yet, if this will fix your issue.

Ok thank you so much for the help. We have an extra C90 with Windows XP so we may just use that one until they release the WTOS7 and see if that fixes our issue.
I’m having the same issue, WTOS 7 helped 50% of my sites.
i am using these in a wireless envirnment with Branch Repeater.
