Now that there will be no future firmware updates for the C10 clients, is there any concern that they will lose the ability to connect to Server 2016 RDS in the near future? Could a Microsoft update cause these thin clients to not be able to connect?
I doubt that this will happen. The latest code has RDP 8 included. As long as MS supports clients with RDP8 connecting to their servers, this will work.

I know that I had to update all the WYSE models to 8.3_109 to even have the ability to connect to the Server 2016 RDS broker. What was it about that update that was required to connect to Server 2016?
Changes on the MS broker site that Dell had to implement.

And there won’t be any additional changes to the MS broker site that Dell would have to implement again?
I cannot speak for MS, sorry.
